Legends Clean Regime – Our Covid-19 response

Legends Bar Covid-19 Update – Wednesday 2nd December 2020

Following new Tier 2 restriction announcements, we ask for your co-operation and support in keeping Legends a safe place to visit.

  • Face coverings are now mandatory for all customers and staff members; they must be worn any time you are not seated – Including entering the building and can only be removed once seated.
  • We will continue to operate table service ONLY, when arriving please wait for a member of staff to seat you.
  • Alcohol can only be served alongside a ‘substantial meal’.
  • Only one household can have a meal together indoors, but the rule of six applies to those eating indoors. 
  • Closing time has now moved to 11pm.  Last orders are at 10pm.
  • Please remember to be kind to all staff, we are all dealing with challenging times, new rules and regulations.

Checking-in And Social Distancing

Minimising contact and increasing protection at reception with screens, social distancing measures in place and hand sanitiser available in public areas. Face coverings are now mandatory throughout the hotel and bars.  

Hygiene And Sanitising

The frequency of cleaning and disinfecting has been increased in all public spaces including high-touch areas, such as lift controls, door handles handrails and gaming machines with disinfectants to the European standard of EN14476, effective against COVID-19. In guest rooms, we are paying special attention to cleaning high-touch areas including TV remotes, light switches, door handles and desks.


We directly employ every member of our housekeeping team which allows us to ensure they maintain the highest standards in cleanliness and hygiene training. We are also carrying out additional checks on rooms.

Room Cleaning

We will continue to service all guest rooms daily where you are staying more than one night. However should you wish to limit this interaction please let our Reception team know on check in. New towels, additional pillows, tea and coffee continue to be available on request.

Bed Linen And Shower Curtains

We professionally launder all our linen at over 60 degrees with disinfectant detergent so you can enjoy a safe night’s sleep. We’ve also removed all extra pillows and whilst most rooms don’t have shower curtains, those that do will have them changed after every stay.

Protective Equipment

To protect our team members, we have provided them with the necessary PPE equipment including masks, gloves and hand sanitiser. All our team members wear face masks in accordance with government guidelines.

Team Members

Nothing is more important to us than the wellbeing of our guests and team. Our team members are undergoing additional training, including proper handwashing, physical distancing, and enhanced sanitation protocols.  We have clear processes for people to tell us if they are showing symptoms and cannot come in to work. We will also be proactively checking the temperature of every team member before they start their shift.

Guest Health

On arrival, every guest is given information which clearly outlines our safety procedures including the actions they need to take if they feel unwell and recognise any symptoms of COVID-19 including notifying the hotel team and following self-isolation guidelines.
